Nuxeo Studio is the low code SaaS service used to configure and adapt Nuxeo Platform to your needs. In addition to rapidly building software in coding sprints, Nuxeo application builders are using Nuxeo Studio to arrange application components, including data and logic, via a drag-and-drop interface — think virtual Lego blocks that developers can move with a mouse and snap into their creations. Nuxeo Studio and Nuxeo Platform gives you many alternative to answer a specific need (Check our Nuxeo University course on Content Modeling Options)

That said, it is also true that starting from scratch can be quite challenging: in few cases, you’ll use the default pre-generated configuration because you’ve added some cool styling contributions, or because you need to reuse a complex business logic. To answer this need, we’ve created the now really famous Nuxeo Studio Community Cookbook!

This Github repository aims at helping the Nuxeo Community to enrich Nuxeo Studio projects by providing a list of features and visual elements ready to be copy-pasted.

The modules are for LTS 2019:

  • They can be unrelated to the UI (to provide new backend features, such as utilities to handle multimedia files, specific conversions, email templates etc.).
  • They can provide UI elements for Nuxeo Web UI, or any frontend application

After a couple of weeks, it really has become a must-have to speed up Studio Project: We contribute regularly and offer to our community our latest configuration tips. To promote the repository, we’ve created references inside the Nuxeo Documentation page.

We strongly encourage our community and partners to contribute the repository: just follow the guidelines, reuse the prepared templates, et voilà ;)
