Introduction to Mutltichain and POE

It’s an open source platform to build D-APP (Decentralized Application) or Blockchain Application and it’s an extension of Bitcoin core.

To enhance the practical usage few features are added to it e.g Data Streams Transactions, Mining & Block Signatures, Permission management etc.

Practical Usage of Mutltichain

POE — Proof-of-Existence — It is a application to generate a Proof of Existence of file or record on Blockchain by uploading the HTML form along with the file’s signature (it’s an 256 bit hash generated with CrtyptoJS using SHA 256 bit Algorithm).

Information would be stored into private-public ledger so that record would be fetched later on to prove the existence of file with other information e.g Author, license holder, date, time etc.

Crypto-graphically it is impossible to fake the Document’s signature or modify the past records in the blockchain hence it would be helpful to prove the file’s existence in legal matter’s.

Upload the file, it’s signature would be stored in Blockchain. Share the link with others to showcase prove of it’s existence. People have file or link can verify the existence of file.

E.g employee can showcase it’s authenticity of degree and certificate by providing the link and soft-copy of certificate to employer.
