After finishing up my portfolio and case studies following my 10 week immersive UX training at General Assembly in London, I started looking at different ways to polish up some of my weaker skills.

I love looking at beautiful UI but I know I am just not that good in that area of my process. So, after discussing it with some friends and fellow designers I decided to take up the Daily_UI challenge and keep practising until I am more confident with this skill.

For day one the task is to create a design for a sign-up page. To get started I chose one of my previous projects that I have been considering a UI re-design for, this was a mobile app called Nibble that explores solving the problem of food waste using the sharing economy. you can read through the project case study here https://bit.ly/2MRUDEj

This is the design I came up with as I am interested in exploring the trend of using background gradients.

Hints and tips on how to improve are always welcome.
