At the beginning of each new semester or school year, teachers are faced with the challenge of remembering names for a large number of new students. Design an experience to help an educator match faces to names, with the goal of shortening the time needed to reach complete un-aided accuracy.

Empathize

Assumptions:
All professors have smartphones. Considering the total number of students is 50 for now. Every new student will be asked to submit their photo for their school ID when they register for classes, which will also be used for class registration. If they did not upload the photo on their own, the school will have an ID photo taken at the ID center to be added to their academic profile. Considering that student details would be retrieved once the user uploads the file taken from the university database.

Define

Who is the target audience? (Understanding the users)
The user could be anyone from a young assistant to a senior professor, with a little or a lot of experience.

What is the current situation?
1)Memorizing by asking students to give self-introductions.
2)Calling out the name and seeing faces during attendances.
3)Taking up activities to build up the community and understand the students and names.
