Storefront plants are carried outside each
day at :am to create the dense “jungle”
look on the sidewalk. These potted plants
function as an extension of the store for
both selling and space. Each day  to  men
are responsible for the moving hundreds of
pots from storage to the street and then
back into storage at night. A process that
takes  minutes total each time and is aided
with carts and trolleys. Several men featured
in the left of the composition stand
outside all day, help customers select
plants and navigate the path. The heaviest
plant on the sidewalk weighs approximately
lbs with the lightest contrasting at
around lbs. This jungle is not seasonal, a
good amount of tall trees and medium
plants can be kept outside throughout the
entire winter, making this movement a year
round process.
