NYC Planning’s IT division is responsible for the digital solutions that support the agency’s planners, urban designers, analysts, and its core functions. What will you be doing day to day?

• You’ll work with urban planners and collaborate with cross-functional team of designers, engineers, and product managers
• · You’ll will solve complex problems from conception to build and work continuously to refine products to achieve quality outcomes.
• · You’ll will share knowledge and grow alongside a dedicated team of developers
• · You’ll work closely with your teammates and end users to rapidly build and deploy outstanding new products

• You have 4+ years of professional software development experience
• You have 2+ years of experience working with a team focused primarily on Drupal, CMS architecture and development with Drupal 8
• You have expert knowledge of Drupal 8 theming, module configuration, custom module development, security
• You have a working knowledge of PHP and MySQL, PHP frameworks (Symfony, Zend)
• You have experience with UI and UX principles, concepts
• You have expert knowledge of RESTful services & JavaScript frameworks (Ember, Angular, React, NodeJS, Express)
• You have expert knowledge of front-end development (Twig, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS & jQuery)
