- Everyone is there- families, friends, dogs, tourists and people on their lunch break
- Located on the north and west sides of Union Square Park, the market takes place every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Assortment of vendors, many of which are local farmers, selling plants, fruits, vegetables, honey, cheeses, kimchi, meats, etc.
- Tables full of jewelry, paintings, photographs and more line the walkway of the west side of the park
- Food scrap/compost drop-off
- Small kiosk promoting information on a clean atmosphere
- Remains dedicated to bringing New Yorkers the best products in every season
