Sharing Guidelines

Hi, everyone. Glad you took the time to explore this blog and read some of your classmates’ experiences during this time apart.

There are two simple ground rules for this blog:

1. “Be creative! But also be mindful of others — remember we are in a multiculturally diverse community — no discrimination/disrespect towards others will be tolerated.”
2. “This is a space for our community. And thus, all posts require an author(s) with an NYU email address. Anonymous posts will not be shared.”

As to how to write a post, here are the following steps you must take:

1. Make an account that is linked to your NYU email and has your full name. This blog is intended for NYU Shanghai students to use. This will help us do our best and preserve this space we are trying to create. Comment your username on this post and you’ll be added as a writer to this blog in no time.
2. Then…get to writing! When you finish, open the story you want to submit, and you should see a gear icon near the top next to “Ready to publish?” Click the gears, and go to Edit story.
3. Next, click the three dots in the upper-right corner to open your story settings.
4. Select Add to Publication, choose this blog, and click save. Bam! Your story should be up in no time.
