Stay Up To Date With All Things NYC Startups and Venture Capital
I’m writing this geared towards members of NYU Stern’s Entrepreneurship & Startup Association, but I think this can be helpful to mostly anyone.
For many reasons, it’s important to be fluent in the industries you’re interested in and stay on top of all things startups and tech. Tactically, this will set you up for success with recruiting. More importantly, though, it will make you a more informed person.
A common mistake I see (and one that I have made) is joining too many of these, getting overwhelmed, and then not reading any of them. I suggest being choosy about them or sampling them if past editions are on a website or Substack.
This is a living list, so if you have changes to suggest or ones to add, let me know by tweeting at me @hillarycbush or leaving a comment on this post.
