it yearns us to stay rooted

fuelling with interest, calm and committed

shading the world with colour

encompassing the beauty and wonder

as we embark on a creative path

where nothing is ever enough

passion is a river rushing through the creek

and with knowledge we seek

a candle in the dark

a gloomy room lit with a spark

passion embodies the hope in our hearts

that we own from the very start

giving us pride

as we take a stride
