Monster Cube (CEO: Yoo Jae-beom), which operates the Korea restaurant app Syrup Table, announced on 9th that it has signed an MOU with Joycomics, a premium webtoon site.

With the MOU, Monster Cube will be able to use cryptocurrency when watching webtoons. MonsterCube introduced a blockchain service called “SODA.” This is a conversion of existing Syruptable apps into Dapp (Blockchain application). This service allows users to receive compensation if they use evaluation or service such as recommendation and review of restaurants through syrup table.

Like the augmented reality game “Pokemon GO,” which captures characters in certain regions, different compensation systems were set up in different regions or stores. Each store is building a unique mining documentary that can be randomly compensated for “soda” coins.

In particular, MonsterCube has recently opened “Bzeroshop (bzeroshop.com)’ which is dedicated to cryptocurrency, and is currently commercializing cryptocurrency.
Bzeroshop is available for payment through bitcoin and ethereum. It is a shopping mall dedicated to cryptocurrency that allows users to purchase products through Syruptable’s SODA Token.

It plans to start the service with more than 1,000 products, and will build online shopping malls such as open markets and general shopping malls during the first half of the year.

Products can be purchased by sending them directly from cryptocurrency wallets to shopping mall wallets without going through the exchange. For this reason, Monsterscube explained, “It is excellent in terms of security such as hacking.”

In addition to shopping malls, MonsterCube will also sign MOUs with its software operator, Soluocean, which is in use at more than 6,000 laundry in nationwide, so that cryptocurrency can be used at its stores in nationwide.

“SODA Blockchain service is rapidly building an cryptocurrency infrastructure that can be used anytime in daily life to complete a token economy along with a daily life mining economy,” said Yoo Jae-beom, CEO of MonsterCube.

Syruptable signed contract with actor Lee Pil-mo who is on the TV show “Taste of Love” as a model, and plans to change the name of the app to “Soda Table” this month.
