Monstercube Applied Cryptocurrency Payment System to SODA Wallet Afilliate

MonsterCube, which is currently working on Soda BlockChain Service (SODA BlockChain Service), made an announcement on May 10th that it has commercialized Soda Wallet payment system that can be paid for cryptocurrency starting with Vera Coffee Indeokwon store as №1 affiliate.

MonsterCube is operating Syrup Table, which is the top app for 18 million restaurants with accumulated downloads in South Korea, and started commercializing new services on March 2 by converting its existing app into a DApp (Decentralized Application) from the end of last year. In addition, there are active moves to commercialize cryptocurrency by operating B-zero shop that exclusive to use cryptocurrency for payment. In the case of B-zero shop, it has been introduced as an article in many media, amplifying expectations for future services.

“Because of contracting MOU with many companies, it’s possible to realize payment system that SODA COIN can be used in various offline store.” said CEO Yoo Jae-beom. “Soda Wallet will start its first service with QR code as remittance method, which is a representative method of offline stores, but it is additionally developing payment module that can be used POS or NFC which is using for paying with car at offline store and scanning QR Code. SO we will show new generation of commercializing cryptocurrency in 2019.

According to a Monster Cube official, the 1st affiliate Vera Coffee Indeokwon store, 2nd affiliate Vera Coffee Shopping Mall store, 3rd afilliate Vera Coffee Baegun Mt. store, 4th affiliate Gangnam Station Teeth Dental Clinic, 5th affiliate AOHB Duty Free Shop, and 6th affiliate Yeonnam-dong ‘Pink moon’ (the head store) have cryptocurrency payment module installed at the store, and it can be purchased directly with cryptocurrency. And payment module will be installed at 7th affiliate Reina hotel and pension and 8th affiliate Eloom golf within this month. Also it said that during the first half of the year, affiliates will be expanded additionally such as laundry business, Yeongjong-do new town, delivery rider service and etc.

Meanwhile, MonsterCube is also preparing to expand into global services that can be remit overseas through SODA Wallet using cryptocurrency by acquiring Payone, which has an annual overseas remittance service of more than 250 billion won.
