MonsterCube Operator of Syrup Table Train Youth Training in Blockchain Field with Baekseok University

Monster Cube, the operator of №1 app SyrupTable in Korea, will participate as a partner company of Baekseok University and Korea Digital Convergence Promotion Agency, which were selected for “the project to foster young talented person for innovation and growth,” and that it will nurture key talented person in blockchain field of the fourth industrial age.

‘A Project for the Promotion of Innovation Growth and Youth Talent’ is a job creation project organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Institute of Information & Communication Technology Planning & Evaluation that supports customized industrial education for job seekers to prepare for the fourth industrial revolution, and seeks to solve the youth unemployment problem by linking jobs to related industries after completing education.

In this project, it aims to intensively train 5,400 talented young people over four years through industrial customized projects and practical education training in the eight leading areas of the fourth industrial revolution including blockchain, big data, artificial intelligence and AR/VR, Baekseok University was selected as a “Blockchain Specialist Training Course” and “Specialist for AR/VR-based technology and content production” from September 29, 2018. In particular, three of the 25 students selected as trainees of Blockchain specialist Training Course will enter a corporate training course for a blockchain practical education program at Monster Cube.

The corporate training period will run for five weeks from mid-January, and the trainees will have a hands-on experience in blockchain by participating in the “SODA Blockchain Service” work and various projects being prepared for the service at Monster Cube. Soda Blockchain service is a service that can be compensated by using evaluation or service such as recommendation and review of tasty restaurants through SyrupTable by converting existing Syruptable apps into D-apps (distributed applications using blockchain technology).

An official at Monster Cube said, “We recently opened a non-zero-shop for cryptocurrency, a shopping mall dedicated to cryptocurrency, to realize the commercialization of cryptocurrency, starting with a business agreement for the establishment of an cryptocurrency settlement system using Sigma Chain and Blockchain Mainnet technology last November. “We are expanding our on and offline infrastructure for commercializing cryptocurrency by signing MOU contracts with Soluocean, the nation’s top laundry software company, and establishing cryptocurrency infrastructures that can be used at stores nationwide.” said a representative for education students, “This will be an opportunity to gain hands-on experience of blockchain at the best point of industrial sites.”
