NEO Economy DAPP is now live on O3
We’re happy to announce today that the NEO Economy dAPP is now live in O3. It has been pleasure to work with Vincent to help him understand the role of the NEO dAPI, and how to structure his web application to make use of the NEO blockchain. The NEO Economy dAPP will allow you to connect your wallet and see where you rank in the rich list for each token that you hold. It also showcases how to process donations/payments easily from your website. We look forward to helping Vincent expand the reach of his application, and hope more developers will take the initiative to learn how to interact with the NEO blockchain even in this bear market.
A word from the Vincent, developer of NEO economy
Being an avid user of NEO Economy (obviously!) and an O3 fan since they started, I was delighted when O3 announced their intention to provide a direct integration to a NEO DAPI. O3 DAPI is very easy to work with, and the fact that I don’t have to care about low level / security features you usually have to deal with when dealing with a blockchain wallet, is what hooked me up immediately. NEO Economy dApp made sense to me, as it allows a direct integration of some of NEO Economy features directly within O3, like querying users balance from their connected wallet. That’s what I wanted to develop quickly, a powerful yet simple dApp, and it took roughly one week to develop and test. I truly believe that the addition of such a standard/proposal to NEO ecosystem is truly what will make it different and so much more interesting than other blockchains. I have many more ideas, so expect a new dApp soon.
