O3 Desktop: Import Aphelion wallet

If you would like try out the O3 Desktop wallet, and are already using the Aphelion wallet, this guide will walk you though the process of importing your account!
This article is a part of our set of guides for using the O3 Desktop wallet. We encourage your to check it out when you get a chance.
Install the app
If you haven’t already downloaded the app, you can get it from any of the following:
Locate your Aphelion wallet credentials
- Open the Aphelion app
- Login to the account your want to import to O3
- Navigate to the settings menu
- Click the “Backup Wallet” button
- Copy your “ENCRYPTED KEY”
- You will import this key into the O3 app
Add wallet from login screen
- Open the O3 app
- If you are already on the dashboard or setting screen please scroll down to the next section in this article.
- Select “Add wallet”
- Fill out a name for your wallet
- Enter or paste the encrypted key from your Aphelion wallet
- Once populating your credentials, click “Create”
- Enter the same passphrase that you use with your Aphelion wallet to authenticate this account, and click “Submit”
- You will then be taken to the dashboard screen for your wallet.
- Congrats! Your account has successfully be migrated to the O3 app!
Add wallet from dashboard or settings screens
- If on the dashboard screen, navigate to the settings screen by clicking on the gear icon in the menu bar on the left-hand side
- On the settings screen click “Add wallet”
- Fill out a name for your wallet
- Enter or paste the encrypted key from your Aphelion wallet
- Once populating your credentials, click “Create”
- Enter the same passphrase that you use with your Aphelion wallet to authenticate this account, and click “Submit”
- You will then be taken to the dashboard screen for your wallet.
- Congrats! Your account has successfully be migrated to the O3 app!
