If you have a ledger device that you have been using to keep your NEO or Ontology funds, you can now use your device to securely access your funds with the O3 desktop wallet.

O3 Desktop: Setup Guide

With all existing wallets in the NEO/Ontology ecosystems, you are only allowed to have a single address for each Ledger device that you own. The O3 desktop wallet allows your to have multiple addresses on a single Ledger device.

The O3 desktop app allows you to access all of your NEO and Ontology funds in the same address, and is compatible with the latest Ontology Ledger app. You can now securely swap your NEP5 ONT tokens for MainNet ONT on your Ledger! You can also gain access to the MainNet ONT from the second NEO airdrop of MainNet ONT to existing NEO holders, as the O3 desktop app can now send and claim MainNet ONT and ONG.

VERY IMPORTANT: Please update your ONT & NEO apps on your Ledger device from the Ledger Live app to the latest versions ONT v1.2.0, and NEO v1.3.2. These updates is crucial to allowing you to manage your NEO and Ontology with the same Ledger device. If the update is not made, you may see a different address when using the Ontology Ledger app vs the NEO Ledger app, or be unable to properly sign transactions depending on where you first used your ledger.

This article is a part of our set of guides for using the O3 Desktop wallet v0.1.6. We encourage your to check it out when you get a chance.

  • If you are coming from any other NEO wallet, such as Neon, your address will be the first one on the list.

Please only use this option to recover funds from these addresses. It is advised to only use addresses listed without this box checked in the future.
