O3 Desktop: Ontology NEP5 to MainNet Token Swap

If you still have not swapped your ONT NEP5 tokens on the NEO blockchain to ONT tokens on the Ontology MainNet, this guide is for you!

If you are using a Ledger device and have been holding our to convert them until a secure solution was made available, look no further! With the O3 desktop app, the ONT MainNet tokens from the round two NEO airdrop will be present in your wallet, and readily accessible to you at your leisure in the O3 desktop app.

Performing the token swap

• Open the O3 app
• Open the wallet where you hold your NEP5 ONT tokens
• Locate your NEP5 ONT tokens in the “My Assets” section on the right-hand side of the wallet dashboard
• Click on “Swap tokens” on the ONT asset card

• Review the details of the token swap transaction.
• Please note that the ONT token on MainNet is non-divisible, just like NEO. So only whole amounts of ONT can be converted. Most exchanges have already discontinued trading on NEP5 ONT tokens, so if you would like to donate the remainder to O3, we would be extremely grateful. If not, please uncheck the donation box before submitting.

• Upon pressing “SEND NOW” you will be prompted to authenticate the transaction if your account is not already unlocked or are using a ledger device.
• Once submitting the token swap, you will receive a send transaction in your list of transaction on the wallet dashboard. Your NEP5 ONT will be sent to the Ontology token swap address:

• Please keep the transaction id as your copy of the swap receipt.
• You will receive your ONT MainNet tokens in your same wallet within 24 hours in most cases.
• Congrats! You have successfully swapped your NEP5 ONT tokens, and are ready to use them on the Ontology MainNet once received.
