O3 Wallet Setup Guide — Android — NEO/NEP5
This is a simple, step-by-step guide to creating NEO/NEP5 wallet with the O3 Wallet on Android.
Download the O3 wallet on your phone from the Google Play Store
You can find it by simply searching for o3 wallet, and it should be the first result.
Install the app
After installing, open the app, and you will be greeted with the login screen.
If you already have an address, please select Login, and proceed to login with your private key.
If you do not already have an address, or would like to make a new address, please click CREATE A NEW WALLET
WARNING: BE SURE TO SAVE YOUR PRIVATE KEY TO A SAFE LOCATION. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO DO SO. LOSING THE PRIVATE KEY MEANS LOSING ACCESS TO YOUR FUNDS. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE SHARE YOUR PRIVATE KEY.
Only once you have saved your Private Key, please click START.
Confirm you have read the info about how your credentials are stored, and that you will save your private key.
Confirm that you have in fact saved your private key, and continue.
You will then be presented with the home screen.
Click the wallet icon in the bottom toolbar to take you to the account screen.
Once on the account screen, click on the plus icon on the bottom right.
Select My NEO address from the menu.
You will then be presented with this QR code along with your address. Don’t worry, this is your public address, and is perfectly okay to share.
This is your NEO address, and can be used for doing things like withdrawing NEO, GAS, or any NEP5 token from an exchange. This is also the address that you will be using to participating in any NEP5 token sales.
To save this information, you can click COPY ADDRESS
You are now all setup to interact with the NEO ecosystem from your phone!
