Here at O3, we are always wanting to get a better picture of what our users need and want from our apps, what they love, what they hate, and in turn, create a better road map for features and updates, to make better stuff quicker.

This last week, we ran a short survey (11 questions), to try and pick the brains of our users and the feedback has been fantastic. Across 251 responses, we learnt a great deal about our users, what we are doing right and where we can improve.

We wanted to share those insights with you, and explain what we are doing to make O3 even more awesome.

Lets dig into the numbers!

We kicked off the survey with a few simple questions. How often do you use our app, and are your satisfied with it?

91.9% of the responses came from people who have some decent experience with the app, which is exactly what we were looking for. But were also very happy to get some answers from totally new users, to gather insight into how their experience has been so far.

Whoa!

The next question gave us some warm and fuzzy feelings inside. 96.8% of the responses we satisfied with our products! With a decent group of them being extremely satisfied.

We are hoping, with all this great feedback, we can convert a few more of the ‘somewhat’ and ‘mostly satisfied’ folks into the ‘extremely satisfied’ group!

Next up, what you love, and what needs fixing.

Full disclosure, I had to add in the labels with photoshop on this image because they wouldn’t show up on Google forms for some reason.

As you can see, people are pretty happy with a lot of our features, but we also have a lot of work to do to get everything really shiny. It’s pretty clear where our focus is needed from this data.

It’s da GAS

One of our biggest issues, and something we have been trying to fix for some time now is the gas claiming process. Due to the complexity of the process, it can be slow and quite unstable. We are taking steps to make this experience more stable and seamless, but it’s a slow burn due to being held back by some other factors currently, but we are making ground here.

A Marketplace for all your crypto needs

The next on the list is the Marketplace. We received a lot of feedback, mostly around it not really being super useful just yet. Never fear though, we have some super awesome plans for this section. Right now it doesn’t do a whole lot, but soon, it will hopefully become one of the main features of O3.

We are exploring ways to open up a whole new world of crypto currency opportunities and information for our users. We are excited. You should be too. We will start rolling out updates and features for this slowly over the next few versions of the app.

Exchange!

Much of the other feedback related to portfolio and exchange features. As you may have already heard, we have some pretty big plans for this, so just sit tight!

More details!

Next up, we gathered more in-depth details about specific problems users are having. I won’t list all the results here as there is pages of information to sort through, but you can check out the raw responses here if you are interested.

It’s safe to say that many of these responses were similar to what we saw in the previous questions, but shed a lot of light on the specifics.

Gas claiming, exchange and stability issues.

We also picked up on some interested things about users not knowing certain features already exist in the app, perhaps due to poor visibility in app or UX issues, which we are keen to investigate.

We also gathered some great feedback on new features people would like to see in the future, many of them, already on the road map, but a few awesome ideas we had not fully considered yet.

EXTRA EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT IT

One of the key reasons we ran the survey was to learn what information users wanted to learn about it and how. As a small team, our ability to engage with our users has been a little limited lately. We want to fix that.

Everyone loooooves a good Airdrop. At this stage, we are only announcing Airdrops that are done via our app, but are looking into keeping everyone better informed.

Token sales are another big one. We have some bangers coming up that we cannot wait to share with you so stay tuned for that.

While we may not be able to manage daily updates with our small, nimble team, we will do our best to share everything we can with you guys, either through the app or e-mail.

Another thing to note is that O3 only supports, what we believe, to be legitimate projects to protect our user base from scams and other poorly thought out projects. This means, that we avoid sharing news and information regarding those projects and token sales. Not all news is good news.

To wrap up

We asked the age old marketing question. Would you recommend this app to your friends? And we’re blown away that most of you guys would suggest our app to them, and we sincerely thank you for that!

Our Net Promoter Score landed at about 60.1, and we are super stoked with that number. It means we are on the right track and our hard work has been paying off.

And last but not least

“Any extra comments you want to share with the O3 team?” and well, all we can say is thank you for all the on-going support you are giving us and we hope we can make our app the best experience possible.

In conclusion

We have a long road ahead, and we are excited to see what the future holds for us. We now know we are on the right track and will keep pushing out new updates as often as possible.

Thanks everyone!
