Alpha: Starting November 2023
Did I leave the front door unlocked? What should I have for dinner? How do I make sense of a world that seems to have so much suffering? Why am I here and what am I doing with my life?
Life is full of so many questions; some big, others small.
Questions about faith and ‘if there’s more to life’ often get drowned out in a busy world, full of chaos and confusion — a world where it seems like the news headlines get worse and worse every week. Alpha gives you an opportunity to ask big questions about life, faith and Christianity in a safe setting that encourages curiosity. There’s no pressure, no charge, and everyone is welcome — there’s no need to have any kind of background in Christianity, and no question is off-limits!
The evening will begin with a meal and then together we will watch a short video that then allows opportunity for discussion and exploration of some of the topics raised. Questions we’ll address include ‘is there more to life?’, ‘how can I have faith?’ and ‘who is Jesus?’.
Run on a Tuesday night from 7:30pm at South Street over 6 weeks, starting on 7th November, come and meet others also asking questions and give space to some of life’s most important questions. Please do sign up by clicking here if you are planning to come along, just to help us make sure we have enough food for everyone and cater for all the right dietary requirements!
