Catalyst COVID-19 Fund: Wrap-up

If you’ve been around Oasis for the past couple of years, you might remember that back in 2020, we took part in raising money for the Catalyst COVID-19 Fund — a pool of money to support those in developing nations who were being particularly hard-hit by the impact of the pandemic. Catalyst is the group of churches that Oasis belongs too; a family working into dozens of nations around the world, planting churches, serving the poor and raising leaders.

Incredibly, £682,00 was raised (way above and beyond the initial target of £100,000!), and Catalyst shared this week that the full fund has now been utilised. Around 47,000 people in 21 different nations have benefited from food or medical provision on an ongoing basis, due to the work of the Fund.
