Our world moves fast. Sometimes, it’s good to pause.
The Oasis Guided Retreat is an opportunity to do just that. The day is themed around the title ‘Pause to be Present’, and it’s a chance for anyone who would like to join in to take some time out from daily life and be present in the moment to rest, reset, and reconnect with God, ourselves and others. The day will include a mix of guided meditation, contemplation and personal review, as well as space to enjoy time in nature and time to connect over lunch.
It will be hosted on Saturday 29th July, from 10am-4pm at the beautiful Greenhouse at Barnes Close, a retreat centre just a short drive out of the city, overlooking the picturesque Waseley Hills (click here for their website). This event is suitable for over 18s and you need to be available from 10am and for the whole day.
It will be led by Adrian, and will be intentionally small in number to facilitate a personal space to pause from the normality of life. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Those wanting to attend will need to book a ticket in advance, which you can do by clicking here and completing the booking form.
The cost is £15 per person, and standard tickets can be purchased by selecting the option on the booking page. If finances are an issue, please don’t let this stop you from signing up — just select a ‘pay what you can’ ticket, and send payment of what you are able via bank transfer using the bank details on the booking page.
