Interview with Tom Russell

Catching up about the Congo, Coronavirus and Cycling Clubs!

Every Sunday morning, from 10:15am, before our Sunday Service gets underway at 10:30, we have fifteen minutes together connecting as a community. The goal is to catch up with one another, be encouraged by what’s going on amongst us, have some fun together, and hear from different members of our community. Sometimes that looks like a quiz, sometimes a challenge, sometimes news and stories from around the world, and sometimes an interview with someone from Oasis.

On Sunday 23rd, we heard from Tom Russell, part of Oasis working with Medair in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Tom shared a bit about what he’s up to there, how they are responding to COVID19, and the (sometimes unexpected!) ways he’s engaging with the community.
