Love Poured Out: Invitation

John 16:27 - “the Father himself loves you because you have loved me”

- With the Father, by the Son, through the Spirit

A Relationship of Substance
- We are loved (1 John 4:9, Ephesians 1:5)
- We belong (Romans 8: 15–16, Ephesians 2:19)
- We are given access (John 16: 23, Ephesians 1: 4)
- We receive provision (Matthew 6: 25–34, Matthew 7: 9–11)

…JOY

John 16:22 - “I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.”

Based in the past
- Jesus’ resurrection is the source of our joy

Joy for the now
- The Life Jesus offers, a life to the full(John 10: 10)
- A life of purpose (Matthew 5: 14–16)

Joy in the future
- Jesus has defeated death (1 Corinthians 15: 20)
- Jesus is the first fruit of all being restored (Romans 8: 22–23, Colossians 1: 18–20)

…PEACE WHEN IN TROUBLE

John 16:33 - “…in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

- Jesus is with you (Matthew 28: 20)
- Jesus understands (Hebrews 4: 14–16)
- Jesus has the final word (Philippians 2: 9)
