Sunday 22nd February

Morning — We’ll be continuing our ‘I Am’ series looking at Jesus’ statements about himself in the book of John; this time looking at Jesus’ claim “I am the door”. 10:30am for a 10:45am start at Edgbaston Cricket Ground.

Creative Worship Encounter — In the evening, there’s a night to connect with God through music and arts in a really relaxed style. There’ll be lots of different creative expressions and strands, all united by a common desire to encounter God’s presence through worship. It’s on from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the Oasis Suite, and all are welcome!

Wednesday 25th February

The Boiler Room — Join us from 8pm-9:30pm at the Oasis Suite for ‘The Boiler Room’, our regular prayer evening. We call them ‘The Boiler Room’ because we firmly believe that prayer is the engine room of Oasis Church; it’s fundamental to everything we do, and sits right at the heart of who we are as a community. These are always fantastic nights of waiting on God, hearing what he wants to say to us individually and collectively, and getting the privilege to pray for lots of different people and areas of life.

Saturday 23rd to Tuesday 26th May 2015

Catalyst Festival — That’s right, the Catalyst Festival is coming! The next price break is on the 28th February, so it’ll be cheaper to book in now than closer to the event. It’s looking like being another fantastic year, and a great time away as a whole church. Click here for more details, or click here to book in! If you’d be interested in serving, talk to Adrian to find out more and save some money on your place!

Sunday 22nd February

Bridge Supporters Lunch — Every year, we take some time out to thank those who have supported The Bridge both financially and through prayer, share some stories and look forward to the year ahead. After the service we’re putting on a free lunch; a great opportunity to learn more about the heart of the Bridge Project. Alongside this we’ll be doing a Street Teams Relaunch, where all are welcome to find out more about our work serving the homeless of Birmingham and get involved with a team heading out to the streets to distribute food, drinks and clothing.

Sunday 1st March

Foodbank Sunday — We recognise that for many within the city, life is really tough at the moment, and therefore there is a call on us to do something to help. One way we do this is through Foodbank Sunday, which takes place on the 1st Sunday of every month. Bring some non-perishable foods with you to our morning meeting and help resource local Foodbanks within the city to distribute to those who need it the most.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
