South Street Purchase
In 2023, Oasis has the amazing opportunity to purchase the former Methodist Church on South Street, Harborne that has been a base to build home from for the past five years; providing security and legacy for Oasis’ future and the future of this historic building.
The above booklet (also available here, or to download as a PDF here) shares a little more about the history of the building, our vision for the future, and the practicalities of how buying it might work. Whether you’ve been connected to Oasis in the past, you’ve been around a while, or you’re new to our community, we’d love to invite you to play a part in our future; to be praying for us, and perhaps if you feel prompted to help us financially with the purchase.

This is definitely another adventure of faith in the life of Oasis — given the economic backdrop in the UK and the world, now is not the moment we would have planned to buy a building! However, since our journey to South Street we have found God continually remind us to be “Be still and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10) and this seems the invitation once again. It’s really clear that God is opening a door for us here, and we’re so excited to see again what He’s going to do.
