Oasis Life

12th January 2015

Sunday 18th January

Vision Sunday — A Sunday not to be missed, as we look back at where we’ve been and look forward to where we’re going; both this year and beyond. It’s always a fantastic time together, and all are welcome. 10:30am for 10:45am at Edgbaston Cricket Ground.

Thirst — Our first Student and 20's Thirst of 2015, we’ll be kicking off our new series, “Connected”, and have loads of time to hang out, worship together, discuss in groups and hear a short talk. For those aged 17 up to those who still feel like they’re in their 20's at heart! 6:15pm to 8:15pm at the Oasis Suite, Edgbaston Cricket Ground.

Friday 23rd January

The Boiler Room — Oasis’ regular prayer meetings are back for 2015, starting with an evening at the Oasis Suite; 7:30pm to 10pm. Named ‘The Boiler Room’ because we see prayer as the engine room of all that we do and everything that we are, these are evenings where we give ourselves to praying for our city, the nation, and the nations. All are welcome!

Wednesday 21st January

Impact — Back for 2015, Impact is kicking things off in style with Oh Stockholm!, DRAKELOW and Ross Spencer; celebrating the best of Birmingham’s thriving local music scene. Getting started at 8pm for the bargain price of £1, at the new location of the Hare and Hounds, Kings Heath, it’s going to be an awesome start to Impact in the new year.

Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th January

24 Hours of Prayer — Marking the week of prayer for Christian unity, and the 300th anniversary of Birmingham Cathedral, we’re joining with a diverse group of other churches in the city to pray together for our city, the region, and the world. All are welcome to pop in to the Cathedral for as long as they like during the 24 hours from 9am on Saturday to 9am on Sunday; to experience different styles of prayer, music and quiet, and join together with other Christians in Birmingham
