Hi All —

Hope everyone’s staying safe and for those new to WFH getting into the groove, have found your favorite spot on the couch to work, and your favorite beans for home brew pour overs…

Okay a few topics to go over this week:

  • March Availability Challenge Winners!
  • April Availability Challenge: What’s changed
  • Sharing the Love
  • Grants, Grants, and more Grants

March Availability Challenge: Winner winner chicken dinner!

The results are in and Simply Stake is the winner! Congratulations to them for an awesome availability metric and to ALL those in the top 50 leaderboard! Top 10 listed below or click here for the full 50!

Note: Full rules for March Availability challenge are here. Availability was measured from March 5 to March 31.

April Availability Challenge: What’s changed

The April Availability Challenge started on April 1. Same idea and same rewards as March (Top 10 get 50K, 11–25 get 25K, and 26–50 get 15K tokens), but as a reminder the formula we’re using for availability is a little different (see below).

Sign and validate accordingly :).

  • New formula (for April): Blocks Signed + 50 x Blocks Proposed in Round 0
  • Old formula (for March): Blocks Signed + 50 x Blocks Proposed

Sharing the love

As a way to share the great work you all are doing as well as put a spotlight on our partners we’re working on a few things:

  1. Node Operator Page. Adding everyone’s operator name here. If you’re not listed and would like to be, shoot me a note on slack (anne fauvre-willis) and send me your logo. It’s that simple.
  2. Operator Spotlight blog series. We want to highlight some of the work all of YOU are doing. More about your team, why you joined the Questnet, how you think about staking, etc. To get started, just copy these questions, fill them out, and shoot them my way. We’ll probably come back with some additional q’s too but this will get us started!

Grants, grants, grants

A quick reminder that we have a growing grants program and would LOVE to be able to fund more and more tooling for the platform, cool Dapp ideas, community initiatives, etc. You can see some examples of what has already been funded and our wish list here.
