Why

Rarely does a person live so fully at the intersection of Jewish orthodoxy and American secularism. Reggae and rap artist Matisyahu comes to mind, but it seems he is no longer affiliated with the Hasidic movement.

Twerski was a rabbi. He was also a psychiatrist.
