How to submit an obit

Wanna contribute? Here are some tips.

Obscure Obits is accepting submissions. There aren’t a lot of rules.

1. The first one is: follow the rules of Medium.
2. Pick an interesting person to write about and use your writing to sell us on why we should honor this person. Read some of the obits we have already published.
3. Have an article that’s as polished and error-free as possible.
4. Accept that we may say no. We will always try to reply, but if we don’t do so within 7 days, assume we are saying no.

As always, if you are a Medium subscriber you will keep any and all money you make from your writing. Because of that, we do not pay for articles ourselves.
