Obsidian Quick Tips: Editing Block Embeds

One question I frequently see online, especially on Twitter, is can block embeds be edited in place? The short answer is Yes but with a plugin.

Block embeds allow us to combine text from various documents without copying and pasting the text between documents.

However, the more you work with embeds, it is not unusual that you will also want to edit those other documents from the document you are working on and use that embedded content.

For this reason, some complain that Obsidian doesn't allow for editing of embeds, but with the Hover Editor plugin, this is possible.

In this two-minute video, I show you how this is possible.
