옵저버는 웨더스테이션(버전2) 강수량 센서의 현장 적용성 확인 및 기능 향상을 위하여 다양한 형태의 테스트를 지속적으로 진행 중입니다.
최근 옵저버는 국립기상과학원으로부터 시험관측장소 사용 허가를 받아 고창표준기상관측소에 옵저버 웨더스테이션 30여대 설치를 완료하였습니다. 여름 장마철을 포함하여 약 6개월간 운용할 예정입니다.
옵저버는 관측소 내에서 자체관측 데이터를 확보하고 이를 관측소의 관측 데이터와 비교 분석하게 됩니다. 강수량 측정 관련 기술을 향상시키고 강수량 센서 및 데이터 보정 노하우를 쌓으며 자체 강수량 표기방법 마련 등을 이어나갈 계획입니다.
인도네시아 관측망의 공신력을 높이고 관련된 날씨 상품/서비스 가치를 제고하기 위한 일환으로 이해해주시길 바랍니다.

Observer is continuously conducting various types of tests to confirm the field applicability and improve the functionality of the Weather Station (version 2) precipitation sensor.
Recently, Observer received permission to test from the National Institute of Meteorological Research and completed the installation of about 30 Observer Weather Stations at the Gochang Standard Meteorological Observatory. It is scheduled to operate for approximately 6 months, including the summer monsoon season.
Observer would collect own observation data within the observatory and compare and analyze it with the observatory’s data.
We plan to improve technology related to precipitation measurement, build precipitation sensor and data calibration know-how, and develop our own precipitation notation method.
