W-Station 버전 2 운영방법 및 보상과 관련하여 안내 드립니다.
버전1은 무료로 배포하였으나 버전2는 유상으로 판매됩니다.
버전1은 참여자가 W-Station의 정상작동 여부를 확인할 수 있었으나
버전2는 구매자가 W-Station의 관측데이터를 직접 확인할 수 있습니다.
버전2는 총 3가지 방법 중 구매자 본인이 원하는 방법을 선택하여 운영할 수 있습니다.
- CASE 1 : 보상과 무관하게 구매자가 자유롭게 운영
- CASE 2 : 데이터검증서비스를 이용하여 보상수령
- CASE 3 : 데이터검증 및 설치환경인증 서비스를 이용하여 보상수령
▶ CASE 1
관측데이터에 대하여 옵저버에서 품질검증을 수행하지 않습니다.
그렇기에 수집된 데이터에 대하여 보상이 지급되지 않습니다.
구매자는 본인이 원하는 곳에 자유롭게 W-Station을 설치하고 운영할 수 있습니다.
보상과 무관하게 본인 주변의 환경정보 확인을 원하는 분들이 선택하실 수 있겠습니다.

▶ CASE 2
옵저버 데이터 품질검증 서비스를 이용함에 따라 관측데이터에 대한 보상을 받게 됩니다.
최초 설치시 설치 인증을 해야하고 인증 통과 후 보상이 지급됩니다.
품질검증을 통과한 데이터에 대해서만 보상을 받습니다.
최초 설치 후 설치위치 변경이 불가합니다 (이사 등으로 위치 이동시 보상 종료)
※ 비용 : W-Station 구매비 + 품질검증 서비스 이용료
▶ CASE 3
옵저버 설치환경 인증 서비스가 더해짐에 따라 더 많은 보상을 받을 수 있게 됩니다.
최초 설치시 설치 인증을 해야하고 인증 통과 후 보상이 지급됩니다.
이후에도 설치환경 인증을 주기적으로 수행해야 합니다.
설치환경 인증이 통과된 기간 중에는 CASE 2에 비하여 양질의 데이터로 간주 될 수 있는 바, 품질검증을 통과한 데이터에 대해서 가중 보상을 받습니다.
설치환경 인증이 통과되지 않은 기간 내의 보상은 CASE 2와 동일하게 적용됩니다.
최초 설치 이후에 설치위치 변경이 가능합니다 (총 2회)
보다 적극적으로 W-Station을 관리하고 추가적인 보상을 받고자 하시는 분들이 선택하실 수 있는 방법입니다.

▶ 추가내용
- 운영방법은 최초 선택 이후에 변경이 불가합니다.
- CASE 2와 3는 W-Station 구매 후 한달 내에 설치 인증을 완료해야 합니다.
→ 한달 내에 이행되지 않았을 경우 자동으로 일반 구매인 CASE 1으로 간주되고 보상이 지급되지 않습니다. 또한 구매 비용도 환불되지 않습니다.
- 보상은 옵저버앱을 통하여 OBSP로 지급됩니다 (누적된 OBSP는 OBSR로 자동 전환됩니다)
- 보상기간은 최초 보상을 받은 날로부터 2년입니다 (이사 등의 사유로 보상기간이 연장되지 않습니다)
- W-Station 구매비에는 통신비 2년치가 포함됩니다.
→ CASE 1의 경우 2년 이후에도 운영하고자 하시면 통신비를 별도로 납부하셔야 합니다.
→ CASE 2와 3의 경우 보상기간도 2년으로 종결되는 바 2년 이후의 연장 운영은 불가합니다.
- 설치환경 인증은 매월 수행해야 하며 상세한 내용은 추후 안내 드리겠습니다.
- 품질검증을 통과하지 못한 데이터에 대해서는 보상을 지급하지 않습니다.
- W-Station에 대한 품질보증 기간은 구매 후 1년입니다.
- 어뷰징 행위 적발 시 민형사상 법적 책임을 물으실 수 있습니다.
- W-Station 성능 감가상각과 참여도 촉구를 고려하여 초기 보상량이 많고 이후 점차 줄어드는 보상안이 적용될 수 있습니다.
- 각종 비용과 보상금액에 대한 세부 내용은 버전2 판매 시점에 공지 드릴 예정입니다.

Here is how W-Station version 2 would be operated and rewarded.
Version 1 was distributed free of charge, but version 2 would be sold.
In Version 1, participants were able to check whether the W-Station was operating properly; however, in Version 2 buyers can directly check the collected data of W-Station.
Version 2 can be operated by one of three operating modes selected by buyer.
- Mode 1: Buyer operates freely regardless of compensation
- Mode 2: Receive compensation using data quality check service
- Mode 3: Receive compensation by using data quality check and installation environment check services
▶ Mode 1
The observer does not perform quality check on the collected data.
Therefore, compensation is not paid for the collected data.
Buyers can freely install and operate W-Station wherever they want.
Regardless of compensation, those who want to check environmental information around them can choose.

▶ Mode 2
As you use the observer data quality check service, you will be rewarded for the collected data.
Installation check is required at the time of initial installation, and compensation is paid after passing the certification.
Only data that has passed quality assurance is rewarded.
It is not possible to change the installation location after initial installation (Compensation ends when the location is moved due to moving, etc.)

▶ Mode 3
As the observer installation environment check service is added, you will be able to receive more rewards.
Installation check is required at the time of initial installation, and compensation is paid after passing the certification.
Even after that, installation environment authentication must be performed periodically.
During the period when the installation environment check is passed, it can be considered as higher quality data compared to Mode 2,
Receive weighted compensation for data that passes quality assurance.
Compensation within the period of not passing installation environment check is applied in the same way as Mode 2.
It is possible to change the installation location after initial installation (2 times in total)
This method can be selected by those who want to manage W-Station more actively and receive additional rewards.
※ Cost: W-Station purchase cost + data quality check and installation environment check service fee
▶ Additional content
- The operating mode cannot be changed after the initial selection.
- For Mode 2 and 3, installation check must be completed within one month of purchasing the W-Station.
→ If it has not been fulfilled within a month, it will automatically be considered as CASE 1, a general buyer, and no reward will be paid. Also, the purchase cost is non-refundable.
- Rewards are paid in OBSP through the Observer App (accumulated OBSP is automatically converted to OBSR)
- The compensation period is 2 years from the date of initial compensation (the compensation period is not extended due to reasons such as moving)
- W-Station purchase fee includes 2 years of communication fee.
→ In the case of Mode 1, if you want to operate after 2 years, you must pay the communication fee separately.
→ In the case of Mode 2 and 3, the compensation period ends at 2 years, so extended operation after 2 years is not possible.
- Installation environment check must be performed every month, and detailed information will be notified later.
- Compensation will not be paid for data that does not pass quality check.
- The warranty period for W-Station is one year after purchase.
- In the case of abusing behavior, you may be asked for civil and criminal legal responsibilities.
- Considering the depreciation of W-Station performance and the promotion of participation, the initial compensation amount is larger and later compensation amount would be gradually decreased.
- Details of cost and compensation amount will be announced at the time of version 2 sale.
