인도네시아의 KB부코핀은행과 기상관측망 구축 계약을 체결하였습니다.
옵저버는 KB부코핀은행의 지점을 활용하여 인도네시아에 기상관측망을 구축하고 기상데이터를 수집하게 됩니다. 수집된 기상데이터를 활용하여 인도네시아 날씨 예측/예보 시스템을 구축할 계획이며 KB부코핀은행과 협의하에 은행 고객들을 대상으로 관련 서비스를 제공하고자 합니다.
인도네시아의 다양한 날씨 환경에서 관측 테스트를 진행한 후 인도네시아 날씨 상황에 적합한 웨더스테이션(W.Station)을 추가 개발하고(고도화) 인도네시아에 빈번히 발생하는 악기상 재난 알림 시스템 등 인도네시아 현지 실정에 맞는 대국민 날씨서비스를 런칭하고자 합니다.
옵저버는 이번 KB부코핀은행과의 계약을 통해 인도네시아 기상 관측망의 기초를 다지고 현지인들을 대상으로 옵저버앱(날씨사진제보앱)에 대한 온라인 마케팅을 이어나가며 본격적으로 인도네시아에 진출하고자 합니다. 또한 본 계약을 통한 결과물들을 토대로 인도네시아내 B2B, B2G사업을 연계할 계획입니다.

KB Bukopin Bank signed a contract to build a weather observation network
Observer team has signed a contract to build a weather observation network with KB Bukopin Bank in Indonesia.
Observer will build a weather observation network in Indonesia and collect weather data by installing weather stations in KB Bukopin Bank’s branches. We plan to build an Indonesian weather prediction/forecast system using the collected weather data, and plan to provide related services to bank customers in cooperation with KB Bukopin Bank.
After conducting tests in various weather environments in Indonesia, we would further develop (improve) the Weather Station (W.Station) more suitable for Indonesian weather conditions and provide national weather services tailored to local conditions in Indonesia, such as a disaster notification system for adverse weather conditions which frequently happen in Indonesia.
Through this contract with KB Bukopin Bank, Observer will build the foundation for Indonesia’s weather observation network and continue online marketing for the Observer app (weather photo reporting app) targeting Indonesian people. Additionally, we plan to link B2B and B2G businesses in Indonesia based on the results of this contract.
