The idea is simple and the rules are straightforward. Take a photo that features an O. Any O! The 3 best photos will be awarded a prize. Its summer in half of the world right now, so it’s a great time to get outside and go O exploring!

It could be a man-made O

Man-made O

Or an O that has occurred naturally in nature

Natural O

If you want to be in the photo posing with the O that’s fine, or your photo can be without people and all about the O.

To enter, simply upload your photo to the #ophoto channel on the Obyte Discord

Note: the photo needs to be taken by you and by uploading it to the channel you agree to give the Obyte project the right to use it in the future.

Play fair rules

Photos must be taken by the person entering the photo in the competition. You can edit or manipulate the photo if you want e.g. with a graphic editor/filters etc. but it must a photo that you took! The Obbies on the judging panel may use tools to find possible copyright infringements, so please don’t enter photos that are not yours.

There is no limit to the number of photos that can be entered by any one person.

1st = 3GB and 6.33GBB

2nd = 1GB and 2.1GBB

3rd = 0.5GB and 1.05GBB

The competition runs from July 3-August 3. So you will have a full month to find some cool O things and take photos.

Winners will be chosen by a judging panel made up of both core and non-core team Obbies. More details will be made available after August 3 on Obyte social media and the email newsletter. Good luck!
