High Importance: Iagon IDO Moved Tentatively to Early July

Dear Occam.fi community,

As you may have read in Iagon’s official channels, the Iagon IDO date will be moved tentatively to early July, 2021. The core reasons for this change include the current state of the wider cryptocurrency markets, which have precipitated a focus on BTC trading rather than alts. As a result, it is expected that the previously planned IDO date (28th June 2021) would have resulted in poor secondary market trading for IAG tokens, and posed a risk to IDO participants.

Secondly, Iagon has identified more ecosystem partners who can join them in their mission of providing decentralized cloud computing infrastructure built on Cardano, and they are naturally keen on announcing these partners before an IDO launch takes place.

We would like to take this opportunity to reiterate that this is not an IDO cancellation. Iagon is postponing their token sale across all IDO platforms. We have been made aware of this in good time by the Iagon team and we have wasted no time in communicating this planned change to you, our community.

The IDO registration period will be prolonged. To remain fair to those who staked in time, CED reward cut-off will remain the same (23rd June 14:00 UTC — 28th June 14:00 UTC). CED rewards will become available one week after the IDO. All cool-off periods associated with the Iagon IDO have subsequently been removed. This means that those registered for the Iagon IDO will face no cool-off penalties for upcoming IDOs.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we hope that, like us, you stand by the Iagon team’s decision and make their IDO even more successful.

Please find the official statement from the Iagon team here.
