Everybody stay home and make sure to shop at Costco. My family told me to cancel my trip home this Christmas, they are scared of corona and scared of breaking rules. My sister is especially concerned that we would catch COVID on the plane ride over. Even after offering to take 4 quick tests upon arrival, they said they would not see us. She is worried about my elderly father getting sick. She also shops at Costco once a week. Which is safer? Flying on a half-full, plane after a COVID screening, with cabin air filters and a sanitation crew giving each plane a once-over between flights, all while wearing a mask for the 2.5-hour flight? Or going to Costco with zero ventilation, to shop for food that other people have touched, and hang out (masked) in line, with a few hundred germ vectors?
