In this latest post, I’m determined to dispel what may be confusion surrounding my upcoming book, “Occurrence — the Very Strange Story of William F. Blume.” You may have come across the images introducing the various chapters, which could easily be mistaken for scenes from a children’s tale. However, I assure you, this is anything but a fairy tale or mythology.

While the illustrations may exude a fanciful charm, “Occurrence,” on the contrary, delves deep into a profound exploration of the mysteries of existence, perhaps challenging much of what you thought you knew. The book and its companion are memoirs richly interwoven with elements of the esoteric and the existential, blending science, philosophy, and spirituality into what I hope is a captivating narrative chronicling multiple, true encounters.

Embarking on this journey under the guise of my pseudonym, William F. Blume, we’ll uncover the enigmas of UFOs, the paranormal, cosmology, philosophy, and religion. But be warned — these chronicles of bizarre encounters are not for the faint of heart. They are a raw, sometimes harrowing, unfiltered narrative of my personal experiences that may leave you questioning your own reality.

“Occurrence” invites you to peer through a different lens, one that challenges the fabric of our existence. With each page, you’ll confront the ineffable and the unexplained, guided by a profound inquiry into what has been, for me, a mandate of life’s pursuit of enduring mysteries.

Let me be clear: Though wrapped in what hopefully you’ll find as the innocence of a 1950s American childhood, “Occurrence” is by no means a children’s story, nor commonplace by any measure. My hope is that it serves you, as it did me — as a mirror, reflecting the insatiable curiosity and unwavering pursuit of a greater truth that defines the human experience.
