Tranquility on the water

The sun was just breaking as it gave light to the early morning fog on the river, creating a glowing haze. Herons were walking along the bank, choosing items for their breakfast menu. A minnow here, a water bug there, silently stalking their prey, long stick-like legs moving slowly, with stealth and precision.
