New Features of iOS 11
iOS 11 is the next-generation version of iOS. Its the iOS mobile operating system developed by Apple Inc. Its stable version for consumers was released in on September 19, 2017. Its next-generation version of iOS.
It was introduced at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference keynote address on June 5, 2017. The first public beta released in late June and final version released on September 19, 2017.
There has many new features in ios 11. Many features updates in iOS 11 rather than iOS 10. For developer, for xcode 9 its possible to use iOS 11.
Drag and Drop
For Multi-Touch drag and drop is useful. When anyone wants to move contacts, reminders, maps, images to another, just tap and hold on it and drag it to where want it to go. For spring-loading, can use drag and drop to open an app so that it can move content from one app to another by hovering over the icon. Simply pick up the content you want to move and hold it over the app icon in the Dock or on the Home screen. The app springs open. Drop the content where you want it. Its introduces a fast and easy way to select multiple items. Start dragging one item and then tap others to add them.
Drag and drop has been integrated throughout iOS and can be used in the following places: Home screen, Dock, Reminders, Calendar, Messages, Spotlight, Files, Safari, Contacts, iBooks, News, Notes, Photos, Maps, Keynote, Pages, and Numbers.
iOS 11 allows users to 3D Touch. Sliders adjust volume and brightness.The Control Center can be customize via the Settings app, and allows more settings to be shown, including cellular service, Low Power Mode, and a shortcut to the Notes app.
Siri is an intelligent personal assistant. In iOS 11, Siri got more smarter. Its possible to ask for translations, and local AI boosts the chances of Siri accurately doing what already asked. It has a more natural voice and support language translation, with English, Chinese, French, German, Italian and Spanish available at launch. It will also support follow-up questions by users. Siri will be able to use on-device learning, a privacy-minded local learning technique to understand a user’s behavior and interests inside different apps, to offer better suggestions and recommendations.
It introduces optical image stabilization, flash photography and high dynamic range for portrait photos. Live Photos receives new Loop, Bounce and Long Exposure effects, and uses High Efficiency Image File Format to decrease photo sizes. Videos will be encoded in the new High Efficiency Video Coding video compression format, enabling improved quality while also decreasing size by half.
In iOS 11, app store receives redesign. Its focus on editorial content such as daily highlights, and a design described as cleaner and more consistent to other apps developed by Apple.
Software framework like Core ML, ARKit, Core NFC updates in iOS 11.

Core ML will speed up app tasks involving artificial intelligence, such as image recognition.
Core NFC gives developers limited access to the near field communication chip inside supported iPhones, opening potential use cases in which apps can scan nearby environments and give users more information.
Many changes added in iOS 11. iOS 11 will introduce native support for QR code scanning, through the Camera app. Feature changes in Lock screen. It allowing users to see all notifications directly on the lock screen. Scrolling up and down will either show or hide notifications. There has new keyboard features, like a one-handed keyboard on the iPhone and a Flick option for typing numbers and symbols more quickly on the iPad, and many of the built-in Apple apps have new functionality and feature updates.
