Dear GXCommunity

Further to our recent update, we are delighted to announce the launch date of our GXVC Token Swap; the Ethereum-based smart contract will go live on Friday, November 24th, 2017 at 15.00 (UTC).

All current GXC token holders will be entitled to receive a tenfold distribution of GXVC tokens for every unit of GXC sent to the Swap Portal. The new tokens will be deposited directly into the sender’s Ethereum wallet, by way of the smart contract-controlled swap system. The swap portal will remain active for a period of six weeks; thereafter, all swapped GXC will be burnt.

In line with our commitment to our community, we are passionate about raising the standards of excellence. In pursuant to this goal, GXVC is built using the ERC223 token standard. Given its progressive nature, some Ethereum-based token wallets do not yet hold ERC233 standard tokens. We strongly advise using one of the Ethereum wallets listed below to engage with the contract. Compatible wallets include:

  • MyEtherWallet
  • MetaMask
  • Mist

Contract details will be announced later today.

Geneviève will launch a crowdsale in January 2018, offering 62.5% of GXVC tokens through an ICO, priced at $0.10/GXVC; 30% of GXVC will be reserved for GXC holders until the swap portal is disabled, thereafter, unclaimed GXVC will be burnt. Consequently, each unit of swapped GXC will offer $1.00 in valuation through GXVC. Geneviève VC has a total supply of 160,000,000 tokens, of which, 7.5% will be retained by the team. The ICO has set a fundraising hard-cap at $10million. All GXVC attained through the token swap will remain locked until the completion of the ICO. The first round of dividends, amounting to $35,000, will be distributed to token holders following the ICO in January 2018.
