Octopus Network welcomes HorizonLand to the Appchain Ecosystem

HorizonLand

HorizonLand is building a play-to-earn, multi-esport Metaverse ecosystem with multiple in-world MMO esport games such as billiards, bowling, chess, poker, and more, supported by a multi-utility NFT mechanism.

Horizonland’s cities are being built to be an esports paradise, with many high-class hotel structures, futuristic residential villas, and transportation (flying cars!) Players can choose to play their favorite games, live in a penthouse, fly cars between cities, shop for outfits, make friends, and more.

Each HorizonLand city will represent an esport game that gathers players and offers myriad opportunities for MMO earning. The esport games are also simulated with surreal physics and VR experiences that bring games to life.

Multi-esport games

Horizonland offers the integration of esport games starting with Billiards, and then developing, Bowling, Poker, Chess, and others to create the ultimate P2E PVP mechanism for HorizonLand citizens to master esport games while earning rewards.

Multi-Utility NFT System

Horizonland incorporates various cultures and themes from popular esport games. Users can own multiple-NFTs both within and outside the game and engage in a variety of activities centered around these NFTs.

Multi-Avatar Roles — HorizonLand players can create up to six unique Avatars that each have a different role such as Explorer for traveling between cities, Esport Player for game playing, Realtor for buying and selling real estate, etc.
In-city Assets — NFT items shared across all Horizonland cities such as vehicles, buildings, and wearables.
In-game Assets — Esport game specific items such as Billiard cues.
NFT Marketplace — Supply and demand of more valuable NFTs will create a HorizonLand NFT Marketplace for buying, selling, and trading NFT assets.

Extra-Earning Streams

One of the highlights in the gameplay is the extra-earning stream available in the form of “part-time jobs” for Horizon Citizens that act as mini-games offering opportunities to earn rewards. Players can elect to be Gardeners, Shop Assistants, Waiters, Janitors, Car Mechanics, and more, to perform in-world tasks and increase their earning power.
