UniqueOne.Network is the first EVM Appchain to launch on the Octopus Network

An Multichain NFT Project with Many Flavors

Unique One Network, the first EVM Appchain to build on the Octopus Network, has recently passed the voting phase and is preparing to launch.

Unlike other emerging Substrate-based NFT blockchain protocols, Unique One Network has already built successful marketplaces in several niches on Ethereum, BSC, xDai, and Polygon, offering users the ability to grow diverse communities around a variety of favored technologies and art styles.

As the first EVM NFT Appchain in the Octopus Network, UniqueOne Network aims to expand their reach with a multichain interoperable NFT Marketplace that incorporates B2B & B2C NFT and Metaverse-as-Service Modules by deploying a unique staking mechanism that is currently under development.

The Unique One Team is also building their UI/UX implementation with basic functionalities including wallet integration, minting, collection and auction features.

Barnacle EVM

The Octopus Network’s Barnacle EVM is a Substrate-based EVM compatible development template based on Parity’s Frontier pallet. Implementing Barnacle EVM supports Web3 teams directly in deploying dApps written in Solidity as Appchains in the Octopus Network. UniqueOne.Network is the first Appchain to launch using the Octopus Network Barnacle EVM Template.

UoNo NFT Marketplace

The UoNo (pronounced U-NO) Marketplace is meant to be open and permissionless for Users to mint their NFTs, set royalties, and configure metadata. Buyers and traders can browse the extensive offerings with the advantage of being able to use multiple payment tokens. Full auction features to support healthy competition through a variety of bidding strategies are also under development.

NFT Marketplace Launchpad

UniqueOne also has plans to develop a B2B/B2C staking model which will allow developers and Users to build their own rich, integrated marketplaces for their digital items by staking $UNET, the native token of the UniqueOne Network Appchain. Its NFT Marketplace Launchpad plans to offer developers and Users out-of-the-box NFT-related API and SDK tools for theme framework options, infrastructure, and support to launch their own NFT Marketplaces.

The UniqueOne Network team states that they are also working on NFT cross-chain transfer capabilities to enable users to transfer assets easily from one chain to another hassle-free, as well as planning future NFT fractionalization mechanisms.

NFT Collectibles Launchpad

The NFT Collectibles Launchpad is being designed to give artists and Users the opportunity to mint their meme, character, or other generative collectibles without having to host their product, build a website, or learn how to use algorithmic generators. By staking $UNET, artists will be able to launch their collectibles with a user-friendly out-of-box launchpad module.

Initial Platform Launchpad Offering (IPLO)

Unique One Network’s IPLO is a crowdfunding service that adds marketing, community, and auction support to teams who wish to release their native tokens to their Community via unlockable avenues attached to NFT sales or auction events. This B2B offering will be available to projects by staking $UNET.

UniqueOne World Metaverse-as-Service

Through UniqueOne Network’s partnership with Realitychain.io, a multichain, multi-engine, Metaverse-as-Service protocol being built on NEAR Protocol, Users will be able to secure Metaverse lands via an innovative and flexible staking mechanism for Metaverse land leases.

Users can stake $UNET tokens to acquire land leases without having to purchase lands. Multi-length lease slots allow all users, event protocols, teams, and companies the flexibility to build for fun or professional projects, or even temporary events and promotions.

UniqueOne states that Users of UniqueOne World will have access to a higher share of Unique One Network economy in terms of rewards and special NFT giveaways for being active in the realm.

RealityChain’s 2DVerse engine enables Users to create simple models from scratch with guided tutorials and templates prepared by RealityChain. In-world created NFTs are then populated into libraries to create extensive components in character building or structure that Creators can freely trade in the marketplace.
