How can I exchange my Octopoints?
To reward your work on the Octoly platform, we offer Octopoints that can be exchanged with vouchers from Amazon or Sephora. If you are in the Top 20 for one of the rankings, you will receive Octopoints on the 7th of the month, directly inyour Octoly account!
You can then exchange your Octopoints against Amazon or Sephora vouchers by clicking on “Octopoints”. This will lead you to the page with the ranking and show you the Octopoints amount. Then, click on “Exchange Octopoints”. The value of your voucher will be calculated based on your Octopoints, by blocks of 10$ value, with a minimum of 50$. We send giftcards between the 15th - 20th of each month, after placing your orderd you will receive your vouchers in your registered Octoly e-mail!
Your Octopoints’ history is also available under the “History” tab.
In case of equal position on the ranking, creators share Octopoints. If creators are in the Top 20, the points of each position are added together, and divided by the number of creators. Each creator receives an equal amount of Octopoints.
For example, if two creators each published 15 reviews in a month and are both in the 10th position, they will share Octopoints from the 10th and 11th positions. That’s to say, 20+15=35, 35/2=17.5 Octopoints each.
