This new line was designed with diversity in mind. At her Brookyln launch event last week Rihanna stressed that she was focusing on meeting the needs for women of all skin tones. So don’t go to Sephora looking for eyeshadow palettes, mascara, and eye liner. Instead, go expecting face products: concealer, foundation, highlighter, and more.
The line is was designed by Rihanna and the regimen is formulated to mirror her own beauty routine. It all starts with a soft matte base. For that, she’s releasing a liquid foundation in a staggering 40 shades. ”The biggest challenge was making sure that each product covered all skin tones, and it was a challenge I was up for,” Rihanna told BAZAAR.com in an interview. “I didn’t care how long it took, I was going to make sure that we covered most skin tones. Diversity and inclusivity are important to the brand. I hope that fans, makeup lovers, and makeup artists feel that.”

The second step is to get your glow on with shimmer. Rihanna is launching six wet-or-dry powder highlighters, four duos, and two singles. Unlike other makeup lines, these shimmers still have diversity in mind. There is a shimmer product available for every skin tone. So no one will be without their Rihanna-inspired glow.
