Pubs in the octo.press tentacles*:

  • musgrove.blog — a personal blog I haven’t decided what to do with really. I have a blog at mmusgrove.com as well as musgrove.red and michaelmusgrove.wordpress.com, which is plenty, along with all the others I have but don’t use much, like at Github, LinkedIn and Codepen. They never end. For example, I also write about Bitcoin, the Blockchain and cryptocurrencies at Blockchainsaw.com.
  • Fonty Python — My homage to typography. It’s a deep, fascinating topic that most people don’t give a second thought to. The letters they read are all just rice grains in a giant pile. But there’s a lot more to them.
  • a big Fish — Stories from my life, from whatever. Where my Mark Twain lives. Lots of bullshit, in other words.
  • ZXOXZ — Writing tips, tricks, and tools to help you and me become a better writer.
  • The Business Creative — As a creative person who’s also analytical(I have an English degree and an MBA), I was inspired to create this site. It’s about the creative side of business and the business side of creativity, and creative businesses.

It may or may not be interesting to note — I’m leaning towards NOT interesting — that all of these websites have been on WordPress at some time in their lives, except musgrove.blog. But I bought that one from WordPress’ money-making arm Automattic, and put it on Medium, so WP even got some $ out of me for that one. It shows which way the wind may be blowing for WordPress. They like to throw out that market share number, but that isn’t where the rubber hits the road.

Over the 2016 Christmas holidays @medium put out a blog post about how the future of this site will change soon, and the best @jack could describe the plan was as a vague experiment of some sort. So we have that to look forward to.

*(And yes, I can count. I was just being careful about which ones I include here. And when I went to start the last piece of the empire, I discovered people (specifically; I wonder if businesses can have more?) can only start 7 blogs. Queue sad trumpet noise. I was torn anyway between Yachting.blog and being ironic and having a WordPress repair site on Medium at wpfix.site.

howdy.
