Ocular soft launch — first major integration — Colors.network

It’s been quite a while since our last update. Want to take this time to update you on token distribution and status of the project. As previously announced, the tokens were minted early July and we had some delays in distributing them. Unfortunately, during our final review of our accounting, KYC and distribution lists we found some discrepancies that prevented us from legally being able to distribute tokens. This has all been sorted out fortunately and the project is not only on track but we have also done a soft launch of our first major integration Colors.network. Already the feedback has been amazing and we believe this business will be a huge success and we will do our part as a service provider to make sure that their platform runs smoothly in the Ocular ecosystem. More about Colors will follow later. Pre launch is 1st of November.

The Ocular coin plays a key role in all services that integrate into our ecosystem, including white labeling if desired, all we ask is that they support our coin. Each integration is unique and will have various incentives built in to support Ocular coins. This way the coins will be backed by real organic growth and use, not just marketing stunts and hype like so many coins out there. We strategically chose this path for several reasons.
— We wish to build something that is sustainable long term.
— Crypto had a stroke, we believe it is on its way to recovery however the days of coins/tokens backed by cheap marketing stunts and hype is hopefully over and projects that are building something real will be appreciated.
— Ocular aims to build first and marketing can come later when we have solid real services up and running, a lot of projects seem to think all that is needed is marketing and often “slow” to deliver if at all.
— Ocular is structuring many deals that are complex and for strategic reasons better revealed once they are fully finalized.
— Marketing our services with current market sentiment and before our services are available for integration would have been pointless and most likely been detrimental to the health of the coin. We believe what we are doing is worth waiting for rather than rush into a volatile bearish market and that this will be appreciated by our supporters and investors.
— We have large distribution networks queued up to integrate with our services.
