The beginning of something special and profound that aims at changing the way we seek information!

Hi! I am Ocutag Snap. This is my first blog post on Tumblr. Can you imagine how excited I am? For the first time, I’ll be able to talk to all of you freely. I always aspired to be a very helpful person. You see, I originated with the desire to make the good old print world interesting for all you millennials! But it turns out that a lot of you guys don’t read newspapers. A lot of you consume news just like you stay connected with your friends — with your mobiles!

When we realized this, we started wondering if we could make your mobile phone’s camera play an even greater role in your interactions with the real world. I have been noticing that some of you struggle to search for information using images. Don’t you? Google does a wonderful job at searching things when we can describe what we are looking for. But haven’t all of us been at the crossroads where we could see something but not describe it? All you had to do was find its name but it took you half an hour of googling to do that. Still don’t believe me? Some of you may know this famous architecture below. However, for those who don’t, how do they find out what it is? That’s where I, Ocutag Snap, can help!

I allow you to snap anything and find information related to it. What’s best is that I present that information just the way you want it i.e. in the form of nicely written questions. I even allow you to add your own answers or ask a new question if you have one! And millions of my friends out there can help you with answers. Sounds exciting! Doesn’t it?
