Case Study: Mint.co — The Wardrobe of the Metaverse
Project Overview
We’re building a new consumer app designed to be the “ wardrobe for the metaverse ”, where users can discover/buy/sell digital clothing and accessories to dress their avatar and share outfits both in a TikTok style main feed, and easily export it to other social networks and platforms.
They also need a landing page to introduce how their app work. Users will also earn revenue for all sales they refer from their content/profiles.
The Challenge
Mint.co partnered with Odama Agency with a request to build a platform where people discover/buy/sell digital clothing and accessories to dress their avatar and share outfits both in a TikTok style main feed.
They were set out on a mission to create a mobile app and landing page for mobile apps. We need to create beautiful visuals, simple and attractive application.
The Solution
Odama created mint.co’s visual identity focused on creating apps that can organize manage the purchase of clothes in the metaverse.
Mint.co app can connect your character and purchase some cloth members in the metaverse using your exclusive avatar.
We created a mobile app that contains characters that can change, select, and view the clothing store. Our designs follow the mint.co style guide website to design the way they want.
What We Do
We’ve analyzed the information on the brief from the client. After the information was clear, we did the step by step starting with the preparation of the sitemap, wireframe, typography, colors, hi-fi design.
First steps before we start the wireframe, we did sitemap placement. Sitemap contains all the important pages of a website or app, it can make it easier for us to organize user flow to ideas on how users can complete the flow in the mint.co application
Wireframe
Then we did the wireframe stage, we started exploring a simple layout, but all the information needed by the user is complete.
Visual Identity
After the wireframe was processed, we started creating a style guide to identify the typography and color as requested by mint.co.
High Fidelity Process
The next high fidelity design starts when the style guide process has been completed to simplify the design process, the display will follow what the client wants if we see from the wireframe and style guide that has been approved.
Prototype
Finally we have done the prototype stage. We can’t share this prototype, because there are some privacy issues that we can’t violate.
But you can still see it in our other case studies, kindly find it in our profile.
The Final Word
All of our work is approved, the client loves all the work and how we work. Want to know more? Follow us so you can read more. Stay tuned 🔥
