Wireflow, New era of creating flow
In making digital products (websites and mobile apps), user flow is needed to design how a user can achieve his goals when using a website or mobile application. User flow is very reliable because of the ease of making it easy and can be understood quickly. It uses different forms and elements for every interaction that a user might do.
The era is growing, and development in the design world is also getting wider lately. Wireflow is becoming a trend among UI and UX Designers, wireflow is felt to be able to overcome the problems that arise when creating a user flow. Then what are user flow and wireflow, and why is wireflow a new solution when creating a complex user flow?
User flow
User flow is a path or route that must be taken by a user in achieving their goals. When making a user flow, a designer must be able to translate what features must be owned in an application or website so that users can feel at home in the created application or website. User flow is considered capable of translating the needs and paths that users must take over the years, but over time and with the increasingly complex flow of an application, the power of user flow decreases. User flow is indeed easy to create and easy to understand, but when the flow is very complex, the process of understanding the flow also requires more time. Therefore Wireflow was made.
Wireflow
Wireflow is a collection of wireframes connected by arrows indicating the path a user must follow. Wireflow feels more powerful when the application created has very complex and multiple flows so that both designers and stakeholders can understand the flow that is made quickly.
Conclusion
There is nothing wrong with selecting User flow or Wireflow. When the flow created in an application seems small and simple, user flow feels more potent than Wireflow. Meanwhile, when the application has many flows and has complex flows, Wireflow is a good choice for developing the application.
